loading xp home and removing previous system

i have a second hand processer that has windows xp pro
loaded. but i have purchased xp home to load for myself .
how do i load my new xp home and remove the xp pro thats
loaded?

Boot from your XP CD and initialize your HD from the CD-booted
incarnation of XP.
