My son has joined the USMC and Im using his custom gaming computer. We
have windows XP and just about every bell and whistle but only a DVD
Rom, no CD Rom. The problem is when I try to load in a game like Halo
it
loads to the D drive which is empty and is not used on this computer.
I need it to load to the C drive so I can play it, can
anyone tell me how to do this.

Firstly does yr son know yr playing with his v.special pc?
When you insert a cd it usually autostarts and presents you with a menu, and
normally the option to install - you just follow the prompts/dialogue.
A cd doesnt 'load' unless there is an option to run from cd.
The D drive may well be the cd/dvd drive
You might be better advised - if you dare - to call yr son and ask him how
to install - particularly if it as you say a 'custom games pc'
