I recently loaded MS Flight Simulator 2000 on my new Dell
running Windows XP. I loaded the program under the
administrator because only the administrator has the
privilege of loading programs. The problem is that only I
can run the program from the administrator's account. All
Limited account users in cannot run the program. It comes
up with the following message: "When trying to install MS
Flight Simulator 2000 you must have administrative
privileges" The program was already installed and it
shows up under the "All Programs" menus in all Limited
accounts. I then removed the program from the system,
turned one of the Limited accounts into one with
administrative privileges and reloaded the program in
that account. As long as that account remained an
administrative account, FS2000 would run fine. As soon as
I changed it back to a limited account, I got the same
error message again.

This is really annoying. What do I do without giving
administrative privileges to my kids because this is not
the only program that has this problem.

ps. When replying to my message please remove the:
(removethis) from my email address above. That way my
email address does not end up in every spam server in the
world.

Thanks

Carl
