I have a windows 2000 workstation that loads (or tries to
load) multiple copies of everything that is loaded at boot
up. After it is done loading everything the computer
imeadiatly shuts down. It only happens to one of the
accounts on the computer. The other (that I don't normally
use) works fine. If I boot in safe mode it stays running.
When I created a boot log it had all of the entries in it
multiple times (around six times each), but they were not
always in the exact same order.
I have the latest virus defenitions from symantec. I
downloaded all of the updates from microsoft. I only have
one entry for each thing in the registry
HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Services
Any ideas
