Is there anyway in Outlook 2003 to allow to open short cut (Link) files that
are sent?

Outlook security doesn't allow us to open it.
We don't want employees to exchange large files that are already in a
network drive. We just want them to be able to send short cut.

I still don't understand why we can't browse to file to hyperlink rather
then typing the file path and name.

Yesterday, I was showing one of the end user how to hyperlink a file, I grew
gray hair trying to explain the guy how to copy/paste file path and file
name...
Instead, browsing to a file would have been simple and would have saved
everyones time.
