LiveRecovery file

Word 2002 saved a LiveRecovery.asd file and whenever I try to open it Word
crashes and creates a new LiveRecovery.asd file
 
You cannot open a live recovery file in Word. It can only be opened by
Word's file recovery procedures. If that doesn't kick in on opening Word the
information you hoped it would contain is not available.
