Live Update

My NAV 2003 screen indicates that the Live Update feature is on.
However, the virus definitions were more than a week old, and I had to
refresh them "manually." I ASSUME that there was one or more automatic
online updates during the week. Why isn't Live Update working -
especially when the main page states it is on? How can it be fixed?

Thank you,

Sorry about that.

I could not fix the problem.

Live Update still does not work properly.

H-m-m, me too. Links work for me. Some viruses will block firewalls and AVs
but then you shouldn't have been able to update manually either. Only other
thing I can suggest is run a scan to see if you're infected and then hope
for some smarter suggestions. Duh.

You may have contacted one of the newer viruses/worms like Gaobot which will
try to stop some AV and security processes. Make sure you're currently
updated then try a scan to r/o infection.

Many times it is just quicker to uninstall and reinstall Norton, esp if you
have the CD and High Speed Internet. Make sure you have any id numbers, etc
you may need with your particular version.
I tried deleting the updates and using Intelligent Updater and everything
got messed up. I then uninstalled and reinstalled.
