Live TV Stalls on Vista

I'm running Vista Home Premium on an HP n7674n desktop.

When the live TV window is not on full-screen mode, the TV picture stalls
and gets very choppy. When the window is fully maximized this does not
happen. Is there a fix for this???

Are you using an AMD X2 processor by chance? I had this problem until I
downloaded a new driver for the CPU.
