listview checkbox single select

how can i uncheck any checked checkbox (except the one i just checked) in my
single select listview with checkboxes?

what a weird control, heh?
if you know a better control for displaying text and letting you select only
a single value - do tell.
my boss wnats me to use the listview tho.
