List of Figures

Is there a way to have the list of figures change the space into a tab when
it generates using a style? For example, when using styles in Word 2003 and
you have a caption marked as caption with 2 spaces after the Figure number.
When the List of figures generates if the 2 spaces can automatically be
changed to a tab I can set the paragraph formatting to allow for a title that
will have to wrap because of its length. If not, it has to be done manually
which is too time consuming.

Hello T-

Don't know that it will do a lot of good, but when you go into the Caption
dialog box try Ctrl+Tab insead of a space. After you generate the TOF you can
select the entire field and adjust your Tab setting for all entries at once.
Downside is that the individual captions in the body of the doc will not have
a space (although one could also be used) & you may have to adjust the tab
setting for each caption.
