One of the idiots a while ago claimed that SP1 rewrote the whole NT kernel.

I am surprised no kernel is mentioned.

That scoundrel actually made a website to this effect and came here claiming
that he found it.
 
The whole NT kernel was not rewritten, instead just a portion of it was
rewritten, the performance bit inside of the kernel was flipped (from 0 to
1).
