Hello All:

How can I configure my WinXPP to show a list of actions (copy all files,
show images, open as folder, etc.) when I insert a USB stick?

I have tried (albeit unsuccessfully) all the options in TweakUI->My
Computer->AutoPlay-> Handlers, as also in AutoPlay->"Prompt me..." in
properties of the USB drive in Windows Explorer.

Thanks a lot in advance!

- Rajesh

Probably USB drive does not support this feature.

BTW, did you post this question on a earlier occassion ?

Rajesh,

This should work as I get the autoplay box when I insert my usb stick. If
the autoplay isn't working try the following which was suggested by Rick
Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP in a post similar to this in the
Windows XP Basics newsgroup.

Ricks posting:

In addition, there is a file here that will reset the defaults for autoplay:
ftp://rickster.myip.org/WinXP%20Autorun%20fix/

If you cannot access it, go to the Control Panel/Internet Options and on the
advanced tab disable passive ftp.

Hello Jonybrv:

Thanks for your reply. Yes indeed I had posted the same question sometime
back. I had posted it from the Microsoft Support website, but couldn't find
it in Google Groups even a day later - hence I reposted. Sorry if this has
inconvenienced anyone.

Best regards,
- Rajesh

PS: Sorry for the delay in replying - I was not able to access this forum
for the past week.

Posting via CDO is part of your problem. To correct:
