List manager problems

I wasn't sure which forum to put this in so chose ŒMisc¹! Can someone help
me remove the list manager as it drives me insane and I don¹t know how it
Œappeared¹ in my spreadsheet anyway! With list manager in force you cannot
sort columns of text and that is very annoying to say the least. If someone
can advise me how to disable it permanently or temporarily, I¹d be very
grateful!

What is a "list manager"? You're not referring to the Excel 2003 Data, List
feature, are you?
