List Comparison between two Excel files

I have two seperate Excel Workbooks. File A contains a list of users. File
B also contains a list of users. I need a way of finding out which users in
File A are in File B. And which users are in File A that are not in File B.
I have a userid column in each file which is used as a key.

I'm used to doing SQL, but have little experience in Excel, was hoping that
one of you might help. I know you MVPs are good at giving examples.
