I WANT TO BE ABLE TO CHOOSE FROM A LIST/COMBO BOX AND THEN ADD AN AMOUNT TO
THAT SELECTION. AS IN MY LIST BOX DROPS DOWN AND I SELECT A VEHICLE TYPE
FROM THE LIST, I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SAY AN AMOUNT.

Feel free to use both upper and lower case, as it makes your questions
easier to read. By convention, typing all in upper case is considered
"shouting" in the newsgroups. For other good suggestions on effective use of
newsgroups, see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) at
http://www.mvps.org/access/netiquette.htm.

I do not understand what you mean... I would expect the Vehicle Type and an
Amount to be displayed in separate Controls on the Form. The Vehicle Type,
you said, is in a Combo or List Box, and the amount would likely be in a
Text Box (unless you want the user to choose from a list of amounts and use
a List or Combo Box for that, as well). I would also expect these to be
stored in separate Fields in the underlying Table.
