list automatically scrolls to bottom

when I move cursor into email list , list automatically scrolls to bottom and
I cannot
get back to top of list.

What version of Outlook are you using? Is this on a desktop or a laptop?
Sounds like you might have a stuck key or be leaning on the touchpad
or something.

2007 on a laptop

do not have any similar problems in any general XP windows with same
behavior - all those act normal

So it's behaving as if the down-arrow key is stuck? The selection rolls
all the way to the bottom of the list and stays there; if you try to
move up it just moves directly back to the bottom again?

How many items on the list?

currently ~ 600. Does not always happen though. In fact, since I fixed the
shrunk text (other post), it has not reoccurred.
