Hi,

is there any possibility to get 3D functionality with the ATI M10
(Mobility Radeon 9600) in Linux? Do newer Linux-Dist. support this chip?

Thank you very much for your answers!

The latest ATI drivers available on their website that should be OK. I have
used these before with Mandrake 9.1/9.2 with my 9800se. Not 100% sure if
they work with the new 2.6 series kernels or not, and they do not work for
the latest XFree 4.4 (not too much of a loss since hardly anyone is using
it). They aren't difficult to install, just print out the readme and have
the kernel source installed beforehand.

Hope this helps.
