Linksys Wireless-N Broadband

Originally I bought a Linksys Wireless-G router and then returned it to
exchange for Wireless-N. I think that this may be the reason that a
computer in the basement cant connect to a second computer upstairs. This
is the simplest thing imaginable to me, but there may be a conflict
somewhere I have missed. Any ideas/experiences would be greatly
appreciated.

My guess would be that the SSID (workgroup name) set in the router setup
(usually available via http://192.168.0.1 ) is not the same as the old
router.

You will need to run the Setup wizard for the Wireless, as the Old Router As
" mark" Kindly pointed, took the setting with it for good, including the SSID
and the Encryption been used to secure this Wireless Network?.

The workgroup name I gave is the same. BUT, the Network Key (WEP/WPA Key):
1bb9d8b0ec5d40b692f9d552dd is different. Does this matter? And if so, how
do I change it?
