I can read German, and I have to say that you are right: For accessing
the site, you have to install a dialer, which charges 29,95 EUR for each
started 30 minutes.

Also, the site probably has only shareware and such stuff. Beware of it.
Best remove it from the linklist - it is a hoax, at least what is about
freeware.

bye,

Onno

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your good work.

Looks OK to me. It's still having some freeware applications available.
I'll keep this one on my list, when you don't mind.

It is a dailer to a warez and porno site. I'm glad I've removed it :)
Slow, but there.

This is a strange one. Entering the url mentioned above gives me a 404.
Entering http://www.downloadsmachine.co.uk/ redirects to the url
mentioned above, and shows the site. Strange....
OK for me

OK, but "embarrasingly bad older programs" moved to
http://www.simer.net/paul/programs/oldindex.html

I think I'll do an 'in-between' update today or tomorrow. I also
mentioned Vegards's Fishy site to be offline, bot this one is also OK
for me now.

Thanks.

With kind regards,

It's even worse: it's a warez and porno site. Glad I've removed this
one :)

Looks ok to me now, it was a comparison table of about 10 web-hosts
before.

bye,

anyone know what happens when you let one of those dialers install, but you
either have no modem or it's not connected to a phone line? I figure you
can uninstall it later and make sure it didn't install data miners and
stuff, but I've always wondered what would happen. I never seem to end up
at sites that try to install dialers, just ad crap.
