Links open to small windows

Erika

Recently when I click on a link the window open to a very
small size so I have to maximize the window to see the
page...a definite inconvenience. I didn't have the
problem before but I can not remember changing any
settings. If I am clicking on links that keep me within
a web site it doesn't happen, only when taking me to an
outside web site.
The Knowledge Base is so complicated in its use I gave up
trying to find a solution as well as using Internet
Explorer help...useless.
I tried maximizing the window then closing the window as
well as the window which took me to that web site and
tryinga ll again...didn't work.
Can someone please help...this is very frustrating!

Erika,
Reset Browser Window Size:

Close all instances of Internet Explorer except for one.
Right-click on a link in the page and select: "Open in New Window"
Close the first browser window using the [ X ] (upper right corner)
Resize the second browser window manually by dragging the sides to the
desired size.
Note: Do NOT click the Maximize button, you *must* do it manually.
Hold down the Ctrl key and click the Close button (upper right)
Visit another web site, open a link in a new "window", it should now be the
desired size.
Note: some pop-up browser windows will alter this process if that is the
last one closed.
If that occurs again, you now can resolve this problem.

[Exception]
In some cases the "Remember last window size" info becomes corrupted in the
Registry.
