Links Folder in Favorites

Probably a simple way to do this, but...does anyone know how I can keep that
damn little "Links" folder from appearing ecery time I open up my Favorites?
 
Set the attributes of the Links folder to Hidden and you won't see it.

If you are running Windows XP and you have problems hiding the "links"
folder, there is an alternative.

Go to
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Scroll down to line 93 (right column) and run the XP tweak named "Remove
Links folder from IE/Favorites".

Then delete "links" in your Favorites folder.
