get the following error message when some courses are
opened (some play fine)
ERROR : Unable to finder header info block in sound

Are you running the 1.02 update available here:

sound issue, you may need to save your personal saves and then reinstall
Links 2003, or, since you didn't mention which sound card or drivers you're
