Linking User accounts and Hardware profiles

Hi, I have been setting up my machine with two "modes", one for genera
use and the other for audio editting. Ive created a hardware profil
for the audio, getting rid of un-needed hardware, and also a use
account to prevent un-needed services starting to free up memory etc.

Does anyone know if it is possible to link the hardware profiles to th
user accounts so that the general account is not available in "Audio
mode and the audio account is not available in "general" mode.

In the audio account i disable all the antivirus software and security
Under the audio hardware profile the network adapter is disabled s
normally this does not cause a problem. However if someone were to boo
into the audio hardware profile and then log into the general use
account they would have access to the network without any protection.

Thats really what i want to prevent happening.

Thanks for any pointers,

To

Yes - I think thats correct. I was thinking along the lines of making
only one of the user accounts available when in a certain hardware
profile.

I had initially thought I might be able to edit the user list in the
registry for each hardware profile in turn, so that each account only
becomes available in the relevant hardware profile.

It looks like the Hardware and user accounts reg keys are completely
separate so it may not be possible.
