Linking statements between spreadsheets

Have many linked spreadsheets with cell values such as:

='C:\Documents and Settings\CBH6B8\Desktop\Z-Status Report
Development\Development - 25 - Orig\[01_TEAM_STATUS.xls]TSPM Status Report'!A3

Need to define the "Transmitting" spreadsheet name (01_TEAM_STATUS.XLS in
this example formula) in a cell in the "Receiving" spreadsheet.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

=cell("filename",'C:\Documents and Settings\CBH6B8\Desktop\Z-Status Report
Development\Development - 25 - Orig\[01_TEAM_STATUS.xls]TSPM Status
Report'!A3)

I think that does what you are looking for.

Doesn't seem to do it. What I am attempting to do is establish a table of
spreadsheet names (such as 01_TEAM_STATUS.XLS) which can be sorted and
rearranged with the function being calculated from the spreadsheet whose name
is in a particular cell in the dependent spreadsheet. Hope that makes it
clearer.

Thanks again,
