I have an engineer that is linking 8,000 rows of with 8 columns of data from
one book to another.
When he opens the book with the links only the first 4,100 +/- rows of data
are displayed.
The rest of the links show up as REF!.
He has to open the source book to get the balance of the data to display.
Plus when he closes the files it says that there is "not enough memory" . .
.. but it does save the updates.
He has 1 gb of ram on his pc so I don't understand the "not enough memory"
message?
As a test we opened the files from a pc with 2 gb of ram & dual processors
it made no difference we could only see the first 4,100 + rows of data and
still received the "not enough memory" message when we exited the file.
Any suggestions on how to display the linked data from rows 4,100 to 8,000
with out having to open the source book?
Thanks!
