Linking PivotTable Fields - Excel 2007

I have two PivotTables that are set up on different data sources but with the
same report filters. Some of the report filters have multiple items chosen.
I want to change the report filter in PivotTable 1 and make sure the report
filters in PivotTable 2 are the same. I can't write a formula as both cells
read (Multiple Items). Any suggestions on how I can make it work?
