I am linking an Excel spreadsheet within Access, the headings are actually in
the column, not the row as normal. I want them acknowledged to allow me to
query this information. How do I do this? FYI - When importing, I did NOT
choose the option for row headings, thinking I would have other options.

Not sure what you mean by "in the column, not the row". Are you saying that,
column A in row 1 has a field name and column B in row 1 has the value for
the field and so on down to Columns A & B in row n?

If that's the case, there's no way that I'm aware of in Access to link to
the table. Perhaps you can create a new sheet in Excel that transposes the
data, and link to that.
