Hi

I linked some FoxPro tables in an access97 database, and it works fine.

I converted my base in 2003, and I'm not able to see the data in the
tables. Access return Error 3163 :The field is too small to accept the
amount of data you attempted to add.

Any ideas, why that doesn't work?

My Visual FoxPro ODBC driver version is 6.01.8629.01

Also, how can I know the version of the FoxPro tables I want to link?

Thanks

I also tried on a Access XP(2002) database, and i got the same error
message.

Some fields of the Visual FoxPro tables are Caracter(Binary). I don't know
if the key of my problem is there...

I tried to import the data in Excel, and Excel import only the caracter
fields, not the Caracter Binary ones.

So...

After lots of tries. I decide to choose that :

1. I'll import the foxpro tables in a access97 database.
2. I link the new access tables in my access2003 database.

All i need to do, is build a procedure to automate the importation of the
data in my access97 database.

Not the best solution ever, but it works.

Thanks to those who takes time for me
