Linking data from Excel to Word

I need to link data from Excel to Word, so it updates in Word every time I change it in Excel. I've searched for topics in Help, it says that I should drag the cell from Excel to Word with right mouse button, and than choose "Link object". When I do that, the option is listed but unavailable! There's another way, I should use Paste options when I paste the data in Word, but that little thingie just won't show up! I tried to enable it in Tools -> Options, but nothing changes!

Is there third way to do this, or does anyone know how to fix one of those problems? Thanks...
 
Forget it, I figured it out...
I should've go to Edit -> Paste Special, and then paste it as a link...
