Linking a table to an excel spreadsheet

What I am trying to do is link my table to an excel
spreadsheet that is already set up. I also want to have
the two programs update when data is changed or added.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I am having an
awful time finding out how. The version I am using is
Access 2000. Thanks.
 
In Access, go to File, Get External Data. Follow the
prompts. should do it.
