linking 2 form with a textbox... help please!

I have two forms the in the first one we have to enter a project ID in a
textbox, if this project ID was correct(i.e. one of the listed IDs in another
table ) another form should display the record of that project ... can anyone
helps me in this ?
I think we should do it with VB but I have no idea to link between the two
forms in that way .
