linked WorkSheets...

Linked fields on different sheets in all my old Excel
documents have stopped updating automatically after
changes have been made! Now I have to save the document
everytime I change a value in any of the linked cells for
the changes to propagate to the linked fields throughout
the documents!?

Any newly created documents are working correctly thought.
Any ideas?

Thanks,

What's probably happening is that a file you open regularly first time you
launch Excel has been set to manual. The setting in the first workbook you open
once you launch Excel sets the scene for the rest of the day unless you manually
change this setting as you just did. Perhaps a timecard sheet or a to do list?
Find it, change the setting and save it.
