I am trying to link DB2 (v8.2) tables to Access dB (via ODBC data source)
and when I try to query any data from linked table I get "#Error" and every
cell.

Can someone shed a light to this [problem.

Thanks in adnavece.

Yuri,

What version of Access?
Make sure you're current with service packs

Hello.

I experienced the same problem with PostgreSQL linked tables.
What you have to do is to include numeric autoincrement (identity,
autonumber, serial...whatever si it called in DB2) as primary key field in
all your tables. If you use text field as a primary key, Access can't update
records properly. Therefore you must have numeric primary key in every
table.
This will solve your problem.
By the way, it is also good to include a timestamp field in every table.
Also, be carefull with length of your table name, because you will have
problems if table name is to big...

Best regards,
