link to pdf on webpage

I created links to PDF files on my webpage. Only the links that connect to
smaller sized pdf files are rendered correctly to the public. The linked PDF
file that is 30MB in size causes a "Page cannot be displayed message" when
the link is clicked. (It's a 911-paged document). What can I do about this?
What is causing this? Is there any way that I can render this larger PDF as
well?

a link is a link, so it's probably not the link which is bad.
if the file is too big it'd be a different failure.
give us a link to the page which has these PDF links so we can take a look.
possible culprits: spaces in the file names, bad path to the PDF, corrupt
PDF, etc.
