link to other pages in a large word document

20 page word document. Within any giving page there may be a reference to
more info contained on another page #. How can I make that "refer to page#"
become a link that takes the reader directly to the specified reference?

Insert a bookmark on the page to which you want to link. Then type some
text, select it, and Insert-->Hyperlink (or Ctrl+K) and choose Place in this
Document, and choose the bookmark you created.
