Link/import/drop link DBF file via VBA

Hi expert,
I'm looking for some code that create a link to DBF file via ODBC Database,
append it to a blank table (that has been delete all records), and then drop
the link to that DBF (since the DBF file is often open exclusively by another
application). Could someone give me a simple example to do this ? Thanks, in
advance.
