link image pointing to the file on my PC !! not showing up on the web??

Is there a bug of sorts in FP'98? yuo set an image into a page - set
the "hyperlink" javascript for "close this Window".. it works ok but -
the actual image won't show up! looking at it's properties and find
it's pointing to the image file on my PC!! not the host server!?!?
This is only happening with 3 links I'd set up - two others were
hyperlinks to anchor points within thr same page - and the same thing
was happening ! I resolved that one by placing the 2 link buttons into
a side frame! but the Close Window button! that's another thing!? how
to resolve it, and why is it happening!?
The annoying part is if I look into the html - everything is ok! now
that's weird! the page online and view source and you see the
offending code pointing to the folder on my PC! how can two
"identical" pages have different code around this particular image!!??
But.. how to solve it is the main question?
thanks.

The most common cause of that is having only the page opened in FrontPage instead of launching
FrontPage, then opening the web folder and then opening editing the page.

Open your web, then the page, remove and recreate the links and then publish.

Yeah... I made an err when starting the site - went straight into the
editor bypassing the explorer page (fp98) - THOUGH interestingly - I
had just finished editiing an image - and in doing so it auto fires up
th FPexplorer window, then I noticed the title of a page wasnt what I
wanted - so brought up page properties to change it.. did that and
gave it the "ok'... and got a huge surprise when FPexplorer burst into
life and whatsthewordforit? updated the entire site graphical link's
I can now view, etc etc in the FPexplorer window! awesome! amazed it
did it!
Oh.. and those bugs with the links are all sorted - the Last one which
Closes the current window WAS in fact able to be fixed by amending the
HTML! cool!
the otehr two were not, but fixed by slipping the 3 graphics into a
frame of their own. That one DID puzzle me though, they were the
links on a page to anchors within the same page, and although the
links works the graphics wouldnt show up! source view online showed
the offending text in the html pointing to my hom epc.. but importing
the page and editing in FP - IT WAS OK! HTML was fine! that really had
me scratchin! my head! but at least a workaround has solved it.
