I need a hyperlink from a Word document to a specific worksheet in an Excel
spreadsheet.
I know how to create the hyperlink to the workbook but do not know how to
ensure the link goes to the relevant sheet name.
HELP!

The syntax will be similar to - D:\My Documents\filename.xls#Sheet2!A1
which will link to Sheet2 cell A1 (you need a cell reference)

or simply

Select the place you want to hyperlink to and copy it to the clipboard. In
Word edit > paste as hyperlink
This will not allow you to edit the Hyperlink text however.

Or you could actually paste special a link to the required part of the Excel
document and have it appear in your document.

Go to A1 of the worksheet and Insert-->Name-->Define. Call it "mybookmark"
or something. In Word, create a hyperlink to the file, and behind the
hyperlink itself, add #mybookmark. So, something like:
C:\myfolder\myfile.xls#mybookmark
************
Hope it helps!
