LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file '.\Debug\ClientEngine.CMarshall.resources'

I deleted a class (CMarshall- it was mispelled) from my C++ mixed mode
project . Now during linking I get the above error. The class was
deleted both from the project and the filesystem. What still holds a
reference to this class?
