Link excel to a query?

Hi Everyone,

I update our department website once a month. This website is on an
intranet and basically I browse for the document I want to put up there and
a copy is made and uploaded to the website. I have a crosstab query that I
copy and paste onto an excel sheet every month to upload to the website.
Now I have to update 3 facilities and wondered if I could link an excel
sheet to my crosstab query so it updates as often as the query would to
avoid having to open the database, navigate to the query, then copy and
paste. I have also been asked to do it more often so the time it takes is
starting to add up. I can't link from the website only upload a copy. I am
using Office 2000.

Thanks,
Linda

If you need to extract data from databases into excel on regular bases,
I found this software named Sql-batch suite, which let you create new
menu in excel with predefined sql queries that are run from excel
directly into your spreadsheet. you can download it from
