Link bar links open in new window - how do I stop that?

A while ago, I realized that links in one of my link bars were opening the
target in the original window, and I didn't want that. I know link bars
theoretically don't have the option of opening targets in a new window, but
somehow I managed to make this happen (and can not to my chagrin remember
how I did that; BUT it would not have been any fancy code or anything - I'm
using FrontPage because I'm not a programmer). Now I find that a browser
must have pop-ups allowed to open links in a new window, and decided I need
to go back and undo whatever I did to make them pop up in a new window
because most browsers these days probably have pop-ups disabled. And for
the life of me I can't figure out how to do that. Any help vastly

the version that opens links in the same window. I'm not a professional,

Thomas, that tag must be generated by FrontPage 2003 in a non-editable part
of the header when publishing - I'm using dynamic web templates attached to
the pages, and the tag is not in the template attached to the home page. I
don't know what I can have done to make that happen. Any suggestions very
welcome!

The only way that I am aware that FP would write this tag is if you select the New Windows under
Frame Target properties and then selected to may this the default.

I would use search and replace to get rid of it.
