Link bar editting & page background

I have somehow gotten stuck so that the link bar only has two bars that do not say what I want them to say. Help! Also, I am trying to make a marble background on the home page, but can only seem to get it as a background to text. The "page properties" background where I would make the change is not accessible (shaded as an option). Please let me know if you can help me with either of these. Thanks!

Switch to Navigation view and change the incorrect wording
there.

Apparently, you're using a Theme. To chafe page
appearance, you must therefore modify the Theme, and not
the page itself.

To do this, choose Theme from the Format menu, make sure
the Theme you want is selected, and then click Modify.
