link 1 sheet to another(totals)

I have a financial worksheet(monthly) with totals. I want to link those
totals to another summary sheet as I post amounts in the monthly worksheet.
Is this a link or did I miss something. I would greatly appreciate some
directions. Thanks

It would be a link.

On Summary sheet in a cell type an = sign then switch to the monthly sheet.

Select the total cell and hit the ENTER key.

As that total cell value changes, so too shall the linked cell in Summary sheet.
