LINEST

Hi,

I have 4 variables A, B, C and D.

I know the relationship between each of the variables with Result i.e each
variable as an independent variable.
How do I use this information to find an equation with all the four
variables that gives me the result. I looked at LINEST but I don't know how
each variable affects another- that is why I want to fit an equation that
involves those variables.
Any help is appreciated.

If you check the XL help file for the LINEST function, there is an
example that does exactly what you want.
