Lines of text overlap

I've finally finished scanning all the thousands of old posts and didn't see
my problem mentioned although it could well have been.
When I view certain websites the words in one horizontal line overlap with
the line underneath it. Sometimes it makes it impossible to read them. I do
a lot of genealogy. I print out various charts which I can view perfectly.
But if I put this chart in a form (rtf) that I can attach to an e mail the
same thing occurs-making the charts almost impossible for me to read. But
when I e mail this chart most recipients can read it. I wonder what the
problem could be.

One possible cause is that the dpi setting is to high, I have seen this
myself. If you have set the dpi to enlarge the text then by resetting it to
normal should help.

If I change the text size from medium to smallest it does help on one
website but doesn't help on my genealogy charts that I have produced in my
Word program.

So when I change the text size to smallest it is too small when I go to
other websites. Hmm.

I guess dpi is dots per inch. I don't know where you set that.
I did have to enlarge the text as it was tiny on most websites. I enlarged
it by tools, internet options, accessibility and then checking the two boxes
to do with font size.

I see how to change dpi now. Mine is already set at Large scale so that
won't help will it?
