I am having a problem, whenever I compose an email in Outlook using Word as
the email editor the spacing is about .5 but if take off Word as the email
editor and just use RTF the line spacing is correct. I use lots of the Word
features when composing emails, does any one know how to resolve this? And
before you say it yes, I did check the format paragraph both in Word and in
the email and both are set at 0.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like your Normal.dot template is specifying the interline spacing.
Delete it and let Word recreate it. You should be able to find it in
%AppData%\Microsoft\Templates
