How can I limit which programs a user may access on my
computer? For that matter, I would like to keep some
programs private, with the user having no knowledge
thereof. This is my computer, however, I have others who
use it from time to time and I don't want to be the meanie
that won't let them sit for hours playing games
(especially if I want to play.)

I have set-up individual User Accounts, but that only
addresses desktop settings, personal files and the ability
to change computer settings.... Nothing about limiting
program access.

Is ther something I have missed or need to download???
Help!!

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition

Thank you for your help (I hope.)

You could, install the software to a directory that the
user doesn't have access to, for example the admin
accounts My Documents\Software\resticted. Or create a
group policy in computer managment with access to
different folders and ad the users to the group as needed.
