limiting character length in text field

Hello,

I am working on a form in Access 2003. I have a text field called Project
Description; I want to limit user input to 30 characters. This is easily
done to numbers with an input mask, but I am having trouble doing it with
text.

If you set the field size to 30 in the underlying table's design view,
users won't be able to enter more than 30 characters on the form.
