limited or no connectivity

Built in network card

Getting a "limited or no connectivity" error and cannot
access the internet.
I've uninstalled the network adapter and let windows
reinstall the drivers with no luck
I've shut off the modem and turned it back on with no
luck.
I canaccess the internet with the same modem with my
laptop.

any suggestions?

Did you use the same Ethernet cable for both tests?

A defective Ethernet adapter would also explain the symptom, as
would several other possibilities.
