limited account problems

Now a new problem with my limited account (XP SP2 Home).
Program gcasServ uses 100% of cpu and never ends when
logging on my limited account. When logging out, process
has to be ended manually. Not seen such a problem so far:
is it related to last updating ? No such problem on my
main account with the administrator rights.

This is a known limitation in the beta 1 release of Microsoft AntiSpyware
and should be resolved by beta 2.

From Steve Dodson:
You have a limited user account running the application looking for spyware
on all files and folders. This includes the administrator account which
limited users may not be able to access. So we have to approach this
carefully in order to remove the spyware from all locations, but also
preserve file and folder permissions and access.

In short, we are addressing this for a future release, but it involves some
major coding and testing.

I have solved this problem by giving temporarily the
administrator rights to this limited account, then logged
in with these rights: no problem. Then logged out and
logged in back the administrator account, here remove the
administrator rights to the limited account, and finally
logged in the limited account (this time with limited
rights) and no problem occured.

Hope than may help.

Thats one way of doing it of course, just as long as you don't grant
permission to go on the Internet.
